Matthew Dear
Matthew has had a career in the transport, environment and energy sector -- leading strategies, programmes and policies to enable innovation, transformation and help organisations address air quality and climate change challenges. Matthew established BEAT to have a faster and larger impact in addressing the climate emergency.
Matthew has had direct experience establishing strategies, plans and projects to transition to Net Zero solutions for a range of clients in the private and public sector. Prior to BEAT, Matthew established and led London Fire Brigade's Zero Emission Fleet Programme - including the delivery of ZEPA1 - the UK's first electric powered fire appliance. Matthew previously worked at the Greater London Authority, leading on numerous innovation and emission reduction projects in the transport and built environment sectors.
Stewart Fraser
Stewart has extensive experience in both academia and industry. He received a PhD in Engineering from the University of Aberdeen for his work on 'Multiresolutional Techniques for Digital Image Filtering and Watermarking'. He then went on to become a software developer, working in various sectors such as oil and gas, broadcast technology, and finance. Stewart is currently leading development of the ZECURE Platform, where innovative blockchain technology utilising smart contracts and AI will result in a solution that is highly performative, secure and scalable
